Scholarship – USA

Application is open for the Gates Scholarship (TGS) program 2024. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation offers significant number of scholarships each year to study in the USA. The main purpose of this scholarship is to help outstanding minority students who come from low-income backgrounds realize their maximum potential. Eliminating the financial barriers to college, a last-dollar scholarship can enable high potential, low-income minority students to develop their leadership skills. The Gates Scholarship (TGS) programis a very competitive and full scholarship started in 2017.

Document Requirement

To apply, students must be:

1.A high school senior
From at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
Pell-eligible
2. A US citizen, national, or permanent resident
3. In good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
4. Additionally, a student must plan to enroll full-time, in a four-year degree program, at a US accredited, not-for-profit, private or public college or university.

*For American Indian/Alaska Native, proof of tribal enrollment will be required.
